Sam Esmail (creator of Mr. Robot) considers this movie as one of the most perfect movies ever made and has referenced it many time in his show. With a Rotten Tomatoes rating of 96% and its un-seriousness regarding time-travel make it a must watch. It has received the cult status in recent times because of its memorability and goofiness.

Looper (2012)
Probably one of the best sci-fi of the decade, Looper is definitely gonna be a cult classic. Because of its brilliant plot, it was also included in Watch Mojo's list on Top 10 movies about time travel. For fans of Dark, this flick has got Darkness in its tone. Like the show, its gonna make you think about it for days or maybe decades. This flick is packed with brilliant performances, Superb Science Fiction and Ongoing Action which keeps you engaged. It also has a western theme attached to it, so if you like westerns you're definitely gonna love this too. With Amazing performances from Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Bruce Willis, Emily Blunt and Jeff Daniels, this flick is a must watch.

12 Monkeys (1995)
Let's just say that this Sci-fi Thriller is a must checkout for everyone. As any thought provoking and gripping time travel cinema could be, it does justice to all of it. Amazing performance from Brad Pitt and Bruce Willis will surely catch your eye. In my personal opinion I think its one of the very few movies that get Time Travel right. Terry Gilliam has done an amazing job in directing the film. Brad Pitt was nominated for an Academy award for his role of Jeffrey Goines. A convict volunteers for a mission to travel back to time to stop the outbreak of a virus. This flick is a must checkout for every 'Dark' Fan out there.

Predestination (2014)
This movie is one of the most underrated Science Fiction movies of the decade. Can't say much about the plot as it would ruin your movie experience, just watch this gem. Director and Writers Michael and Peter Spierig have done an amazing job in creating this masterpiece. Ethan Hawke has delivered one of his best performance till date. This flick will definitely blow your mind.

The OA (2016-2019)
Not at all related to Time travel, but you this mysterious science fiction will have you hooked just like Dark did. With just 2 seasons available on Netflix and an ambiguous ending, this show makes a perfect week-long binge. The show is mysterious and innovative in its own unique way. It's one of the few science fiction shows that you could never predict. The show is beautifully crafted and well scripted. When a blind girl reappears after a long time of disappearance, with the gift of vision, the show starts to unravel itself. Also it was nice to see Phyllis from 'The Office', in a show after a long time.

The Impulse (2018-2019)
Impulse is by far one of the best realistic superhero TV shows. In my opinion, this is the closest thing one is gonna find to Daredevil (TV show). The tone of the show is serious and dark. Despite being a superhero show, it doesn't stick to the cliche of saving the world and takes on much greater issue of sexual assault and consent. Maddie Hasson has done an amazing job in portraying Henry. The show is perfectly shot and scripted. With just two seasons available on YouTube for free streaming during lockdown, this show is a perfect binge and will leave you wanting for more.

Westworld (2016-)
One of the best Science Fiction TV shows of all time, Westworld is set in future where rich and powerful people spend their vacation in a futuristic western-themed amusement park. Based on 1973 film of the same name, made by Michael Crichton (also wrote Jurassic Park). Westworld is equally confusing, just like Dark. Jonathan Nolan has made a masterpiece, which brilliantly shot and perfectly scripted. This sci-fi show with robots innit says much more about the human nature than any other show. Compelling performances Evan Rachel Wood, Ed Harris, Thadie Newton, Jeffrey Wright, Tessa Thompson, Anthony Hopkins and many more make it more indulging. This show is definitely a must watch.

Stranger Things (2016-)
This show had to be mentioned in the list. You have probably already watched this show, but in case you haven't just check it out right now. The Duffer Brothers have created a nostalgic sci-fi masterpiece. People of a small town cross each others life in the awake of an unexplained out of ordinary science stuff, seems similar, right? Well, that's coz Dark and Stranger Things are similar in some aspects but both the shows are mind-blowing and unique in their own way. If you love either one of them, you must watch the other. The characters are memorable and extremely lovable. This show has tons of references to many nostalgic and fan-favorite stuff. This show will make you nostalgic, happy and will leave you craving for more.

Legion (2017-2019)
This is definitely the most creative and mind-blowing TV show ever. Based on the Marvel Character 'Legion', who is the son of Charles Xavier from the X-Men Universe, this is one the best superhero TV shows ever. Won't say anything about the plot, so that you can be amazed with the same intensity as I was when I watched the show. The show is very creative in its writing, shooting and cinematography. The soundtrack of the show is amazing. The actors are perfect in their roles. Aubrey Plaza is lovely to watch and her performance shows a new level of dedication. This show is a must watch.

Black Mirror (2011-)
This dystopian anthology science fiction show is a must watch for the fans of the genre. Also considered as one of the best science fiction shows ever, this show is innovative, dark and twisted in its own unique way. Heavily inspired from the 'The Twilight Zone' series this show is already a masterpiece.
